  • Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator, Elbow, Saskatchewan. Constructed in 1913 and upgraded in 1957 and 1974, this is an excellent example of a traditional wooden cribbed-construction, gable-roofed elevator with gable-roofed cupola. The "standard plan" elevator, circa 1910 - 1965, typically stood 50 to 60 feet high, with approximately 40,000 bushel capacity. The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool donated the elevator to the Village of Elbow in 2007 to use as a museum. Oversize 5.5×8.5 art card, item #2016070010173elbowelevator.

  • Storm Brewing, Grain Must Move, Elbow, Saskatchewan. A CPR freight train rumbles past Elbow's historic Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Elevator as a looming thunderstorm gathers overhead. Prairie summers can be clamorous, roiling clouds bringing a deluge of rain to cool a searing day. Later, as the storm recedes into the horizon, the stillness is broken by a robin reminding us to cheerily, cheer up, cheer up, cheerily, cheer up. Jumbo art card, item #2018060010159elbowelevatortrain

  • Dragons Don't Eat Wheat, Elbow, Saskatchewan. A frolicking dragon or a prancing dog? What do you see when you look at clouds? Summer at Lake Diefenbaker is made for lying back and looking up, imagining gentle creatures gliding across the sky or giant monsters breathing lightning fire. But Elbow's historic Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Elevator is safe. Dragons like meat, not wheat. Oversize art card, item #2018060010192elbowelevatorpuffystorm
